About Ann Wilton of AnnArtHighlands​

I  was born in Scotland and live in the countryside of the Scottish Highlands, being so close to nature gives me such inspiration.

​

T he light, the colours, the smells, the feelings, the landscape, the sea, all surround the senses and drives my creations - for you. 

For you to sense, touch and see.

 I strive to convey in my work from what I see and feel inside and out.

I work in a  range  mediums  including  watercolour's, pastels, oils, acrylics and  needle felted sheep fleece!  The needle felt work is so versatile, as not only can you make beautiful wall art, but it lends its self perfectly to 3d

 sculptures, and binds me to nature visually and through touch.
